Science fiction is currently divided into a dozen sub-genres which means that there’s something for everyone. So I decided to pick up ten of the most popular titles that YA science fiction has to offer. There are no descriptions because it’s all pretty self-explanatory.
So have you read any of these? If not, do you plan to?

omg, this is brilliant! I've read a lot of those, and I think I prefer more sci-fi adventure — a la Under the Never Sky. Love that you broke down the genre into subcateogries this way ๐

What an awesome flowchart! I really need to get to the ACROSS THE UNIVERSE series – I've had the first one sitting on my shelf for-EV-er…

I plan to read all of these. Of course, besides The Hunger Games as it's the only one in the list I've read! This is a great flowcart! I plan to tackle Uglies, Cinder, The Knife of Never Letting Go or The 5th Wave first as I am familiar with them. The rest comes after! ๐

And I wonder what The Knife of Never Letting Go is about. I've heard of it, but I'm just going to scurry off to check it on goodreads. And I really like your graphic! I'm so happy I've read a few of those.

Heehee I love the flowcharts! I recently used similar ones at our library for a "What's Next?" display for after you've read the Hunger Games. Some really great books and so many I still need to read – Cinder, Pivot Point and The 5th Wave. My TTT.

Oh Sana, this is brilliant!! What a great idea to do a flowchart. Me, I'm a sci fi LOVER so I actually want to read ALL of these books (I have read half already), but this would be perfect for people who are a little bit iffy about the genre. Not sure why – it's awesome! Love the "There no hope for you here…" comment!
