About

THE 170 CHARACTERS VERSION

I am 20-something years old and I love reading books that sparks my interest. A bibliophile at heart with a constant desire to understand art, I am a nerdy owner of a curious soul.

THE LONGER VERSION

Always in a search for a book buddy in this whole wide, wide world; I am never short of books to read. My TBR pile now has more books than the books I have read. Well, not really because I used to read a lot of short stories and Famous Five books by Enid Blyton, R. L. Stine, Sweet Valley, Sweet Dreams, Nancy Drew and Love Story.

Then I discovered the Harry Potter series at a time when the first six books had already been released. I read Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows back in 2009 and fell in I utter and absolute love with the books all over again.

Eventually, surprisingly short of books to read, I discovered If Tomorrow Comes by Sidney Sheldon at home one day and found another author whose work I will always adore. My absolute favorite is Rage of Angels. In between a couple of not-my-cup-of-tea authors like Danielle Steel and Candace Bushnell, I discovered more and more exciting genres from chicklit to thrillers and what not!I discovered Living Social app for books on Facebook and when they decided to shut it down, I was forced to switch over to Goodreads back in July 2011. I quickly got addicted to Goodreads and in November 2011, I decided to join the book blogging community to share my love of books with other bookworms.

So here I am today, with no such favorite genre per se but always ready to read anything which sounds interesting; much like music to my ears. However, I never can resist a good romance with a dash of jealousy, possessiveness on the guy’s part and slight action be it a young adult or adult book.

“To live in the world without becoming aware of the meaning of the world is like wandering about in a great library without touching the books.” – Dan Brown, The Lost Symbol
